EEK! It's a Mouse (and scary pumpkin)

© 2008 Vernita Bridges-Hoyt

This is another of my postcard painting series in watercolor and ink featuring a pumpkin and a mouse. The pumpkin appears to have a face on the shadowed side if you look closely, but it's not a jack-o-lantern. Who is afraid of who? The mouse or the pumpkin? Each of this series is painted on a postcard with rounded corners and address block on the back side. However, I recommend you insert the postcard inside a protective envelope to keep it dry during transit. Better still, just frame and enjoy it on your wall. This one benefits TBAR True Blue Animal Rescue in Texas. They gathered and delivered needed supplies to animal rescue organizations in some of the worst hit areas of Hurricane Ike. A portion will also be donated to the Houston SPCA who is housing a lot of the Galveston evacuated pets.
