This casual wash and line painting of Henry was painted to generate a donation to Legacy Boxer Rescue in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas. Henry's mom-woman has seen the painting and wants to purchase it. The funds will be donated to Legacy Boxer Rescue as soon as the payment of $45 arrives in the mail, at which time the painting will ship to its new home.

For my ART HELPING BOXERS fundraiser, I offered pet portraits for half my typical commission fee in hopes that the paintings will sell quickly thereby generating funds to help ownerless Boxer dogs. The deadline for requesting a portrait in this fundraiser was December 2013. There were so many requests, I am still painting from the request list. All fundraiser proceeds (less shipping costs) are donated to help a Boxer rescue organization.

  1. I would love to hear your comments on this piece.

  2. Love it Vernita! but I love all your dog portraits!

  3. Thank you, Suzy! It is a lot of fun painting these quick portraits to help the ownerless boxers. I typically paint them in stolen increments of time while another painting is drying.

  4. Payment is being mailed today. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Love this painting :)

  5. Thank you for letting me know the payment is on the way. This really is my pleasure to find a way to help the Boxers. I'm so glad you are happy with the painting.
