- Howdy! Introducing myself, I am an artist from southeast Texas near Houston. I paint animals, portraits (pets and people), still life/flowers, and landscapes. My mediums are oil, watercolor and pastel. I am a member of Artists of Texas, Daily Painters of Texas, the original Daily Painters Art Gallery, and one of the six founding members of Art Helping Animals. My paintings have been described as Impressionist with a Texas twist. I am in my studio daily either painting or marketing. I support cancer research and animal rescue through the sale of my paintings. I have exhibited at The DaVinci Artists' Gallery in Tomball. Currently, my paintings are available at The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, The Garden of The Dragonfly in Old Town Spring, and through online venues. I am fascinated by the art process. A 5th generation native Texan, I am deeply entwined in the land and lore, and as I paint the sauce of Texas, I create an art collage of my life. ~ V.
